Valorea mea, valoarea mea…

O prietena are o colega ce vine mereu la munca in albastru. Ea este “doamna in albastru”

Aici gasiti cateva sfaturi:

(Robin Good gives 10 steps to creating a personal brand.)

“How does one avoid being an asshole?”

News:
1. Trecem pe romana

How To Avoid Being an Asshole
Do not make people feel oppressed, humiliated, de-energized, or belittled.
Do not mistreat people who are less powerful than you.

http://www.50lessons.com/viewlesson.asp?l=392

How to Deal With Assholes
Eu as spune …fa-i sa regrete ca s-au nascut…dar altii ne dau solutii mai temperate.
Develop indifference and emotional detachment.
Hope for the best, but expect the worst.

Before you say smth ask yourself if it passes these three tests:
IS IT TRUE?
IS IT KIND?
IS IT NECESSARY?

This is one I’ve lost and found.

O zi frumoasa tuturor!

p.s. mi s-a parut foarte tare cum face Bob Sutton identficarea unui asshole:
“…If you hear someone at a Starbucks order a ‘decaf grande half-soy, half-low fat, iced vanilla, double-shot, gingerbread cappuccino, extra dry, light ice, with one Sweet-n’-Low and one NutraSweet,’ you’re in the presence of an asshole. …”

P & L

Everyday people working in marketing and advertising & else just think about their brands, their brand indicators, the brand awareness and the attitude towards the brand. In the GM ‘s office and also in our heads we need to admit that in the end all this is for money, and only for the money. If it were different we would work for an NGO or for a non-profit organization. But, we work for an organization that wants and has to have profit. It is an organization that had the moment of supreme truth P & L….
where Profit is a positive return made on an investment and loss …well…you all know.

Basically, this is why I consider that marketing is just a tool to reach the supreme purpose: make money for the owner. Do it well and money will come. But do never claim to do it for the sake of art. Do it strategically and you’ll get more and more money on long term, that’s correct.

To end up, I just want to share w/ you this:
“The main purpose of branding is to get MORE people buy MORE stuff for MORE years at a HIGHER price”-forgive me I do not remember the author 🙁 –

How’s business?

Pop up to say “hello”

At the Museum of the Peasant…on Saturday.

Walking around and reading all explanations(Advice:try to always read the explanations in museums or rent audio tours if any)…peace of mind guaranteed. This museum is one of the best I’ve seen In Bucharest and it continues to surprise me each time because I keep discovering things… I entered a big room with a huge wind mill exposed in the middle. The lights in the room were decent. No, not spectacular. As I entered the room I saw an announcement: The illuminating is sponsored by Asirom.
Interesting. I was expecting to read that it is powered by Luxten or something of the kind. However, it has left a good impression. Asirom is powering something decent. And for me it was enough.
Their Way:
Sometimes it is better to make/sustain smth that people do not expect to… you might not reach the brand indicators, but at least you have chances to be noticed.
My Way:
However, the mill was quite old and I was afraid to get very close to it. Maybe Asirom could have said “Come closer to the mill. Here you can touch the objects”

Intr-o lume nesigura, Asirom va asigura.

Saying all the time the same things in different ways => memorability. Is it so difficult to understand?

tell them what you’re going to tell them
tell them and then
tell them what you’ve told them.

As they use to say Creativity is right-brained and Strategy is left-brained. From their power combined, Marketing is born. And yes, I love Captain Planet.
